There has been much talk about the loss of bees all over the world. Latest thinking I believe is some kind of virus. I am happy to say however, that the bee population is flourishing in Cambridgeshire. I can often see as many as 10 at a time in our garden, just looking out the back door. They love the lavender. We often see Bumble bees too.

What is your bee population like?

Hello Sweetpea - I live on a narrowboat in Todmorden and have hardly seen any this year. Mustn't like the water Laughing . We have a lovley garden on the marina and last year i only saw the odd couple, have to get the gardener to plant some Lavender growing Lve from LittleBean
