The Over 50s Gardening Club

The over 50s gardening club at the Acorn Centre

So far have planted up some tubs outside the centre with flowers, herbs and salad leaves.
They have also planted gooseberries, more herbs, salad and flowers at the back of the centre, and one bed outside the community college, with currants and large perennial herbs, as well as reusing the annual bedding plants that were already there.
