sunny sunny have missed this topic so far and we only have a couple of days to go ...a quick re-cap for this month in the garden ..have cleared all the old pots and hangin baskets of the winter flowers..put a new planter in the front garden.. planted a new cherry blossom (8ft)..re-potted the trailing lobelia to grow on ready for outside..got a greenhouse for the back garden..just in the process of digging the foundations for that will have it up hopefully by the middle of may..just repotted 50odd geraniums (horizon scarlet)to be ready in a couple of weeks for the hanging baskets..and starting tomoz have to repot ioo alyssum (mixed colours) to get ready for going in pots and planters
dosnt look much when its on paper .. but definatly very enjoyable ..am looking forward to getting my greenhouse up and running sunny

April 29th 3pm the first raised beds were started in Christ Church cemetery by three parents of children at Todmorden High school. The children will use the beds to grow fruit and veg. This is hoped to be the start of the 'High school Gardening Club'
