Sweetpea's

I am growing Sweetpeas from seed and I intend to put them in baskets. Will this work?

I have done this and they were quite good but needed feeding every other day and watering twice a day in hot weather, but that was on the south coast so the baskets did get rather baked. But they trailed quite nicely and the smell as you brushed past them was amazing But keep picking them because they will not last so long in baskets and picking prolongs there life.
