Tomato plants

Post  Admin on April 6th 2008, 11:04 pm

I have grown tomatoes in hanging baskets with great success, I recommend tumbler and Tom thumb varieties. They will need watering and feeding every day but they are very tasty toms and grow anywhere.

I have done this as well but not sure what variety of plant I grew, would like to add, if your basket is against a wall you will get even more toms if you can turn it regularly, so that both sides get some sun

Have tried growing tomatoes in hanging baskets, but not very sucessfully I think mainly because my garden is quite sheltered with trees think they would have appreciated a bit more sun lol!
